After two months of relative silence, June 5th saw Isha Home School once again burst in to life with the arrival of the students and their parents for the start of the 2010-11 academic year. After registering and completing all the necessary formalities the students entered their new houses with a great sense of excitement and anticipation.
For the Middle School, term started with a trek to the Vaibhav Shiva spot. The students were all eager to get to their destination and splash around in the water. Many of them tested their strength and tree climbing skills to great effect and a lot of fun was had playing group games such as 'Untie the knot', 'Up Down relay' and 'ABC Improvisation'. The new students took the opportunity to get to know each other while the older ones joyfully played handball and throwball. After a few hours activity all the children had worked up a healthy appetite, and very much enjoyed lunch at the beautiful location.
Overall, the students expressed a great sense of pleasure and really enjoyed the adventure into the forest.
