Set in tranquil surroundings around 30 km west of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the Home School is located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains, which are a part of the Nilgiris biosphere.
A Coconut grove is within the sprawling campus and a lush tropical rain forest borders the Home School. This region is considered to be among the 'hot-spots of biodiversity' as it hosts an incredible variety of rare, endemic, and endangered life forms.
Just a few kilometers to the south, the rain forest blends into an evergreen forest through which the Siruvani River flows.
