Senior School Art students created a concept calendar as a product of a Graphic Design workshop conducted by Renee Kaur of Daal Cheeni Design Studio from 1st- 6th August, 2014.

The workshop introduced students to Graphic Design and its uses and specifically focused on Expressive Typography and how it can be used as a medium to visually convey a message or idea. Students learned hands on about the three stages of design: Looking, Thinking, and Doing, as they worked on a project to create a calendar for the school.

The process began with a conversation about various aspects of life at IHS, and the points generated here were taken as inspiration for designs. Students worked to translate the essence of their ideas into a visual representation, creatively exploring different materials and methods in the process.
